The Wildscreen search portal for younger users The Wildscreen search portal is targeted at younger users and allows to search and retrieve bird related content. To improve and enhance this feature, we invite younger users to explore the search portal and tell us what you think by providing feedback using a short online questionnaire. The questionnaire can be accessed by clicking on the “please give feedback” link in the top right. Completing the questionnaire will take no more than 2-3 minutes. Your opinion is of great value for us! Test the Wildscreen search portal
The Naturalis search portal for birdwatchers The portal has been developed with birdwatchers in mind, one of the targeted user groups in STERNA. Its goal is to enable users to search for content on bird species in more than one way and to refine search results in an intuitive manner. The portal provides eight different ways to search for content items in the STERNA information space, each approaching the content from a different angle. For example you can search for content from a specific date or period, from specific locations or with subject keywords. To start a search, simply click on the edit button next to a search option, enter a value and click on OK. The results of your search are shown immediately below the search options. To refine your results further, choose a second search option. After testing, please fill-in the online questionnaire by clicking on the "Finished searching? Please give feedback!" link on the top left of the screen. |
